 The Most
Beautiful Man form the Sea, is a modern oratorio. written by Richard
Chew and Orlando Gough, from a libretto by Gwyneth Lewis, inspired
by a short story by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
It was first performed at the Cardiff Millemium Centre on August
27 2005. It was performed by a choir of 400, a children's choir of
70, Tredegar brass band, the orchestra and chorus members of the WNO
